The UCLA Doctoral Internship Program in Clinical Psychology has been continuously accredited by the American Psychological Association since 1963. The internship is characterized by a wide variety of clinical activities, supervision by a multidisciplinary faculty who frequently are nationally known in their specialty, and a wide array of seminars, case conferences and other educational.

The psychology department at UCLA is one of the largest and most diverse of all UCLA's academic departments. The psychology program is comprised of over 200 PhD students, 77 faculty, 35 postdoctoral trainees, over 40 administrative staff and nearly 90 research staff.
The department offers three graduate programs: a Ph.D. program, a M.S. program and a Master of Applied Statistics (M.A.S.) program.
